TOP 50 cele mai bune piese metal din toate timpurile
Site-ul gibson.com a mai facut un top si anume topul celor mai bune 50 de piese din istoria muzicii metal. Pe langa acesta, tot gibson a mai publicat si un top 25, tot pe aceeasi tema, facut de cititori. Ca orice top si acesta poate fi discutat si rasdiscutat de fiecare dintre fanii muzicii metal pentru ca, vorba aceea, cate bordeie... . Luat in ansamblu, cu o doza de obiectivitate, se poate spune ca acest clasament reflecta realitatea intr-o proportie destul de mare. Iata mai intai topul cititorilor gibson.com:

Aruncand o privire asupra topului observam ca METALLICA a luat partea leului ceea ce era de asteptat, iar restul podiumului este ocupat de metalistii britanici. Fata de primul top acesta mi se pare mult mai profesionist, nu-i mai intalnim pe LED ZEPPELIN iar IRON MAIDEN este pe un loc 5 dar cu o piesa mult mai relevanta. Sa ascultam mai jos piesele de pe podium iar dupa, va propun si un top al trupelor cu cele mai multe piese in TOP 50 ca sa vedeti ce surpriza avem...

Daca ne apucam sa contabilizam ce trupa are cele mai multe piese in TOP 50 obtinem un TOP 12 trupe metal foarte interesant (fara formatiile cu o singura melodie):
